Kathy Cashel has been writing music for the better part of two decades, leaving tracks across a broad swath of genres, volumes, and instrumentations. Kathy cut her songwriting teeth while a guitar player and singer for several DC-based bands; more recently she's been writing for the acoustic guitar-based project the Rare Animal Zoo, the experimental violin-guitar-keyboards combo The Succulents, and assorted other projects, including the music for Taffety Punk's Cardenio Found. Her recent work has been described as "warm and intimate" and "artsy without being pretentious, which kicks ass."
